Priests attempt to consecrate flatbread on the floor

Gerhard Simonitti and Peter Deibler were ordained as priests in 1996, one week apart. On 1 July, they therefore celebrated Holy Mass with a group of children from the Europagymnasium, sitting on the floor and eating flatbread. There were also tours of the church tower, the organ, the Fuchskapelle and the Latin inscriptions. A treasure hunt and a bouncy castle caused quite a stir. Churchgoers can still take part in the treasure hunt – entry forms are available at the entrance!
