Wolves in sheep's clothing

Proselytising homosexuals at World Youth Day KREUZ.NET, the German-language site  published an article Seltsame Gäste beim Weltjugendtag which I translated. The site has since going done but the translation remains.

Strange guests at World Youth Day. This has been translated for Cathcon as follows. (My apologies that such distasteful material follows. I have avoided, where possible, making links to homosexual sites but necessarily must refer to some of their content. Cathcon comments and clarifications in square brackets) Strange guests at WYD The abbreviation "KJG" means "Catholic Youth Community Group". But what does "KJGay" mean? Those who believe this to be a bad joke, should take this "humour" more seriously. "Yeappie – the KJGay can be found soon at the WYD" – This can one read on the [KJGay] website. The "KJGay" introduce themselves as a community of "homosexuals, lesbians, bisexuals and heterosexuals in the Catholic Youth Community Group". The KJG is the largest youth association within the Catholic Church in Germany. At the end of the third paragraph of the KJG introduction [on their website] they mention their commitment to "admission to the Christian faith" and to a "self-responsible religious life". It seems that into the "self-responsible religious life" of the KJG, a column of homosexuals has marched in. According to their own statement [KJGay], they are fighting for "the concerns and interests of homosexual young people in the Church". They want to – apparently within the Church – canvas for "acceptance" for homosexual lifestyle. It is not clear what this group is looking for at the WYD. It is hoped that they are not looking for the same as they did at their last visit. Their last event had been organised by the German Union of Scouts[!!!]. [their website(!!) "Gay Scouting Cologne 2005"- warning offensive content ] They called themselves "warming tents". "Warmer camping" was used within the framework of the gay march which took place last weekend in Cologne. The "Homosexuals, lesbians and heterosexuals within the German scouting group of St George[they also have a website]" – which is also a Catholic youth organisation took part in this very strange event. "Warming tents" means amongst other things a mutual getting to know each other for homosexuals, also for "fun and action", bathing, camp fires and, of course, "tents at the edge of the town, without any limits". On Saturday morning "the warm campers" received information on the events on the homosexual front during the last twelve months. This seems to be part of youth work of the Catholic Church in Germany. In any case, Catholic parents are warned before the event. There are unfortunately in Germany clear signs that matters and lifestyles are being imposed on others who do not share the outlook. The homosexuals at the WYD have exactly the same faith as you, therefore let them give their love to those to whom they wish to give it to. [last sentence deliberately highly ironic] Two of the reader comments are relevant Firstly,…..every human being has been invited; Christ himself says "come unto me all that are heavy laden". But when a WYD intended for a new evangelisation is used for such purposes, then it does concern us. Why are you not humble and ready to turn round? Christ says "Convert, abandon sin and the Lord will show you his mercy." As one who previously has had homosexual contacts (thanks to the WYD by the way!), I am grateful that the Lord has pointed the way. Come all ye too me, and let you be ignited by Christ's love so that you realise that your present path will lead you to destruction. Secondly, the Church Father, St Augustine said "detest the sin and love sinners" End of article Further background A programme for each day of the WYD is provided by the Ecumenical Working Group Homosexuals and the Church. The programme has been reproduced on at least one homosexual website. It includes a celebration of Mass. (They had better be careful about who says this Mass.) It is a strange world when homosexuals have their own Mass in Cologne but traditional Catholics have been banished to another city. Two key questions arise from this article What is the extent of the influence of KJGay in KJG? What is the official standing of KJGay? To answer this: On the official KJG site, KJGay mobile phone logos are available. Many of the regional KJG websites promote KJGay. For instance, Fulda Often contact is made via the local KJG office, for instance in Munich But worse, KJGay actively promotes itself on gay websites. Worse still, they use KJG offices as the contact points. In the middle of one repulsive website detailing homosexual clubs and events in NordRheinWestfalen KjGay - Schwule u. Lesben in der KjG c/o KjG Essen Bismarckstr. 30, 45128 KJGay discussion forums can be found on KJG websites KJGay are using the KJG network for their own purposes. But how official are they? National KJG are more than happy to provide a link on their website to KJGay In 2001, a KJG website reports. Lesben und Schwule gibt es auch in der KJ- There are also lesbians and homosexuals in the KJG. Over one hundred delegates from all over Germany have asked the National Leadership and the National Committee to clarify the status of lesbians and homosexuals in the KJG. This is the first time that KJGay which the network of homosexual men and women in KJG has officially been discussed in the National Conference. The aim of this request is that KJGay is to become a permanent constituent in the KJG at the national level and to draw attention to the fact that in the KJG there are lesbians and homosexuals. In addition, it is also to encourage wider acceptance of homosexual people in Germany. Lesbians and homosexuals can now network at a national level within KJGay. Further information can be found at www.kjgay.de The KJG are quite happy for KJGay tee shirts to be seen at homosexual rallies. In this newsletter, they accuse the then Cardinal Ratzinger of drawing up a "cynical paper on homosexuality". So much for their fidelity to the teaching office of the Church. In 2003, the National KJG gave its support to a KJGay Weekend. But lest there should be any doubt that KJGay is fully accepted by and integrated into the KJG, read the programme for the 2004 KJG Annual Conference. The closing Mass is followed by a buffet and a KJGay cocktail party The KJG compound immorality with religious indifference. Perhaps the KJG should tell their Jewish and Muslim trialogue partners, the extent to which homosexuality is accepted within the KJG.

Lest anyone should be in any doubt whatsoever.

The Catholic position on homosexuality

Explicit treatment of the problem was given in this Congregation's "Declaration on Certain Questions Concerning Sexual Ethics" of December 29, 1975. That document stressed the duty of trying to understand the homosexual condition and noted that culpability for homosexual acts should only be judged with prudence. At the same time the Congregation took note of the distinction commonly drawn between the homosexual condition or tendency and individual homosexual actions. These were described as deprived of their essential and indispensable finality, as being "intrinsically disordered", and able in no case to be approved of (cf. n. 8, $4). In the discussion which followed the publication of the Declaration, however, an overly benign interpretation was given to the homosexual condition itself, some going so far as to call it neutral, or even good. Although the particular inclination of the homosexual person is not a sin, it is a more or less strong tendency ordered toward an intrinsic moral evil; and thus the inclination itself must be seen as an objective disorder.

And from Holy Scripture Romans 1:26-27 26 For this cause God delivered them up to shameful affections. For their women have changed the natural use into that use which is against nature. 27 And, in like manner, the men also, leaving the natural use of the women, have burned in their lusts one towards another, men with men working that which is filthy, and receiving in themselves the recompense which was due to their error.

I Corintians 6:18-20 18 Fly fornication. Every sin that a man doth, is without the body; but he that committeth fornication, sinneth against his own body. 19 Or know you not, that your members are the temple of the Holy Ghost, who is in you, whom you have from God; and you are not your own? 20 For you are bought with a great price. Glorify and bear God in your body. KJGay are not the only people who will participate in WYD, openly hostile to Catholic Faith and morals.

There is a Spanish rock band called Rescate. Who else? Homosexuals have already done enough damage to the Church in the United States. What has become of the world when the corruptors of youth are enjoying the protection of the German Catholic Youth Community Group? What are the Cardinal Archbishop of Cologne, the German Bishops' Conference and the organisers of WYD (the Pontifical Council for the Laity) going to do to protect Catholic youth in Cologne?
