Things go from bad to Wuerzberg

in the Chapel of the Family Formation Centre - once the minor seminary of the Diocese, then school and now this.

Diocese of Linz on fire

Pontifical Mass - ordinary form! Or should that be on hire - to modernism.

Bishop still has not sorted out chronic liturgical abuse in the Diocese. St Stephan's Church in Wels. Not only a stealth priestess, but invalid elements.

And the ultimate liturgical abuse- The Easy Chair Mass And the Bon-Bon Mass- A St Valentine's Day Mass where they handed out sweeties

A stealth priestess surrenders to the modern world- the Bishop looks on.

Cross of Iron

Awaits candidates for the priesthood in the Seminary of Erfurt Diocese.

In Mainz, they are invited to come nearer to heaven in the advertising for the seminary- nearer to heresy more like given that Cardinal Lehmann was a pupil, research assistant and is an ardent disciple of Karl Rahner SJ
A typical product.

Vatican II undone

Pity it bears no relationship to what the Pope has actually been saying.

Vatican II cannot be undone, except perhaps during a time travelling episode of Star Trek. For better or worse, the Council was held and the documents published.

Nature needs a lawyer

the world, however, needs the Church.

Some think he is the worst architect of Churches in the world.

The Church of the Holy Face in Rome which even Cathcon thought would be better pulled down.

Bishop Tobin: Latin Mass reflects diversity of church

Great things will come from Providence!

PROVIDENCE – The Most Rev. Thomas J. Tobin, Bishop of the Diocese of Providence, offered the ,following statement relative to the expected announcement by the Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI on the Latin Mass, which came last weekend.

“I welcome the statement of our Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI that allows for the expanded use of the traditional Latin Mass in the Church. Although it is unlikely that the new provision will have much mmediate impact on our priests and parishioners, the provision for additional use of the traditional LatinMass may serve the pastoral needs of some of the faithful, and for that we are grateful.

The increased use of the Latin Mass is a legitimate reflection of the rich diversity of the liturgical
life of the Church.

“ It is also an opportunity to renew our commitment to the unity of the Church that is the foundation of our faith. As St. Paul reminds us, “There are different kinds of spiritual gifts but the same spirit; there are different forms of service, but the same Lord.” (I Cor 12:4-5)

“Our prayer is that the new provision for the Latin Mass will encourage all the people of God to
followthemandate of our Lord Jesus, “to worship the Father in the spirit and truth.” (Jn 4:23-24)

One parish in the Diocese of Providence,Holy Name of Jesus in Providence, offers a regularly scheduled Latin Mass on Sundays at 11 a.m.

Father Joseph D. Santos Jr., pastor of Holy Name of Jesus Parish, said the expanded use of the Latin rite does not drive a divisive wedge into the Catholic Church, as some have protested.

“I know that the reaction among the laity has been extremely positive,” he said.
