Pope's friend, Rupnik continues to work and travel the world despite Vatican ban

Rupnik's trip to Bosnia and Croatia despite bans. Open challenge to the Vatican

Marko Rupnik, Jesuit and artist accused of abuse, continues to travel and work on new artistic projects despite restrictions imposed by his superiors. He was recently spotted in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Hvar, Croatia, where he is involved in restoration projects.

Rupnik, a living declaration that the Vatican does not really care about abuse or they would have handled the cases very differently

Rupnik's recent activities include completing a decorative work in the Franciscan church in Mostar and planning a restoration project for the chapel of the bishop's palace in Hvar.

Some local authorities, such as Bishop Vidović, support Rupnik's involvement in art projects. Others, however, are opposed, considering it inappropriate to entrust work to a priest under investigation for abuse.
