Cathcon has gone officially ballistic-often prayed here

It is a triple insult, he is a Indian Jesuit (five Jesuits in my family certainly did not go in for this sort of thing) dancing in a Benedictine Abbey Church (I am a Benedictine Oblate).

If NASA wants to get to Mars, they could be there by tomorrow if they want to employ me as a rocket.

Dr Saju George SJ tries to justify the unjustifiable. Dance is a priestly activity! Inner God!

And groomed under a "galaxy of gurus"!!

and... this part of the "mess" is...?

so... what this gay-Hindu guy has to do with Catholicism?

Never mind, Catholicism has already died in that Church.

Homoeroticism in the house of God.

Lord--shorten these days for the sake of the elect!
Poof!

The sacred vanishes.

And people can't understand why there are cries for the Jesuits to be suppressed!?

Lord have mercy!

Priests should never prance around the altar...and they should never run around with no shirt on.

an alter is not a place to dance. how sacriligious!

for your readers who may not be familiar with india, the dance the priest is performing is called "bharatanatyam", and it is a dance that originated in south indian hindu temples. through hand gestures and body movement (specifically, of the face and head), the dancer acts out a story, or proclaims devotion to a deity (in this case, it's lord shiva). the dance is always accompanied by musicians and singers who sing the songs and keep time of the dancer's steps through a hand-held pair of cymbals. traditionally a woman's dance, men in recent years have begun to dance it too, but they're less common.
