The Jesuit priest and artist, Father Marko Rupnik, accused of psychological and sexual abuse of nuns, is to leave Rome according to information from the Jesuit superior in Slovenia, Miran Žvanut, and the Aletti Centre community that until recently was led by Father Marko Rupnik will be dissolved. However, Father Miran Žvanut does not know what will happen to the Centre itself in the future, according to what he explained to the Slovenian news agency. According to the Weekly Reporter, which was the first to report information about Fr Rupnik's transfer, the Jesuit priest's colleagues Fr Ivan Bresciani and Fr Andrej Brozovič are expected to return to Slovenia. which Žvanut denies. According to his information, this will not happen.  Rupnik is said to have committed several sexual abuses against nuns of the Loyola community in Ljubljana, where he worked, three decades ago. Charges against him were filed a few years ago, but the competent church authority said they were established but expired and dismissed the case. Then, last year, statements by several nuns about long-term systematic abuse came to the public. The Jesuit order forbade Rupnik any public artistic and priestly activities. According to recent Italian media reports, the Diocese of Rome has launched an investigation into the allegations against Rupnik. The investigation would also include the mosaic workshop of the Aletti Centre in Rome.
