Archbishop evicts parish priest of 54 years standing

A HOLY MAN AND HIS CHURCH UNDER ATTACK

After attacking the very traditions that have made St. Lucy's Church in Newark, New Jersey, the vibrant institution she is today, Archbishop John J. Myers then set his sights on our quiet and unassuming Pastor, Monsignor Joseph Granato. The Archbishop wants to 'reward' Monsignor Granato's 54 YEARS OF SELFLESS DEVOTION to the spiritual guidance of his flock...by going back on his word and EVICTING Monsignor from the rectory that has been his home for more than half a century.

It has now become painfully obvious that the Archbishop would like to undo all the good works that Monsignor Granato has accomplished over 54 years in a clear attempt to destroy an honorable man...as punishment/retribution for the St. Lucy's community's speaking out for its own survival.

Are we getting the full picture here? And what are the Archbishops reasons? one has to ask. As American prelates go, Archbishop Meyers is right up there at the top in the "good" column.

Gotta be more to this story than what's being expressed here.
