Visit to mosque divides Austrian bishops conference

While the Conference was later united in wishing to wear their Crosses at the Wailing Wall (to the extent reported earlier by Cathcon) 7 out of 15 members of the Austrian Bishops laid aside their crosses to visit a mosque which occupies the Temple Mount.

While it is unreasonable to request any Catholic bishop to lay aside their Cross, you can see why the Jewish authorities might be confused by the double standards.
