Sacred Heart of Jesus

1-Jesus, you have always thought of me.
Jesus, you have always loved me.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, Sacred Heart of my God, 

set my heart ablaze with the fire of your love.

2-What moved you to give me life? 

What moved you, if not your love?

3-Why did you descend from heaven into the manger in Bethlehem? 

Because you loved me.

4-Jesus, on Calvary, what bond held you to the cross? 

Always your love.

5-And what did you want to do when you ascended to heaven? 

To open your paradise to your beloved people.

6-However, why did you remain on the altar? 

Because you could not leave your dear children.

7. O Jesus, since it is true that you are nothing but love, 

why then, Jesus, did I not love you?

8. Jesus, until now, if I have not loved you, 

I want to love you now and forever.
