Edgard Iván Rimaycuna Inga, who has had a close relationship with the pontiff since 2006, is now a key member of the Pope's team. Rimaycuna's history with the Church begins when he entered the Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo Major Seminary in Chiclayo, where he met Father Robert Prevost, who would become his mentor and spiritual guide.
