Delusion of the Bergoglians on the eve of the Conclave. Modernists rescue the Church rather than destroy it.

Cardinal Bishop of Algiers, modernists to the rescue?

During the days before the Conclave, in the normal and predictable whirlwind of voices and interviews that these occasions arouse, we had missed the interview given to the daily newspaper of the CEI "Avvenire", on April 29, 2025 (here), by His Eminence Cardinal Jean Paul Vesco, O.P., Cardinal Archbishop of Algiers

The interview, as you will notice, is a real list of outbursts and nonsense put in good (or rather bad) order by the most eminent.

Dominicans at the Conclave were not the finest their Order can offer
Cardinal Vesco centre and Cardinal Radcliffe right
I came across Radcliffe at Oxford and I was shocked to the core when he became a Cardinal

But let's go in order:

1) "Francis gives us a healthy Church, which has avoided the risk of dying out - the French-born cardinal tells Avvenire -. And he entrusts us with a Church committed to a path of reform that is well underway. This is why I like to call him a reforming Pope. I believe that his pontificate will leave a mark on history. Indeed, it has already left one if I think of the hundreds of thousands of people who came to Rome to pay homage to him or the words of affection that the Algerians reserved for him after his death".

Exactly the opposite is true: the Church, during the Pontificate of Francis (2013 - 2025), is anything but healthy and active. From the collapse of vocations to the frequency of Mass, to the delirious television interviews. There are quite a few Cardinals who during the General Congregations have, instead, expressed great perplexity about the Pontificate of Francis. Yes, History will mark it, Your Eminence, as a nightmare.

2) "I would say that it was the Pope of brotherhood because he simply put man first. He did not start from doctrine but from the person. And that is how all his commitment to the brotherhood of the human family came about".

In fact, doctrine has disappeared. The task of the Pontiff is not to put man first but Christ. Those who put man first Roberspierre, Marx, etc... have seen what excellent results they have achieved.

3) Pope Bergoglio delivers to his successor the Abu Dhabi Document signed by him and the Grand Imam of al-Azhar. Historic text…

"I consider it a document of immense hope and strong disappointment. Immense hope because I would never have imagined that two religious leaders could get to this point: theirs was a meeting for the good of humanity in which theological barriers did not become an obstacle. Strong disappointment because both in the Catholic Church and in the Muslim world the text has not been taken up and has not produced significant effects. I hope that Francis' successor will relaunch the challenge of brotherhood which is first and foremost the challenge of dialogue with the world. The Church is in the world and must confront the world"

The Abu Dhabi Document is on the verge of heresy. The phrase "Pluralism and diversity of religion, color, sex, race and language are a wise divine will, with which God created human beings." (here) is in clear contradiction with the first commandment. Let us remember that a Cardinal, at the time, saved the situation by stating that since the document is not magisterium it was only a political declaration.

4) "It is surprising: in the West a Muslim is scary; and in Islamic countries a Christian is scary. We fear each other. Therefore, mutual knowledge is essential. Just as it is fundamental to understand that the other has within himself a part of the truth about God that escapes me. Pierre Claverie maintained: "No one possesses the truth. Everyone searches for it and I need the truth of others". Christ is, yes, the way, the truth, the life; and he leads us to the Father. But I do not control God's plan of salvation for humanity. And Jesus died to redeem everyone, not just some. That is why I consider orthopraxy more important than orthodoxy"

Here the Eminence Bishop indulges in pure relativism and Gnosticism. Remarkable statement for a prince of the Church.

5) He speaks of "Fiducia Supplicans" It was perhaps his most difficult document. The Lord loves unconditionally, as a father loves his son without reservations. He does not say: "If you do this, I will deny you". The Lord will never deny us. As priests and bishops, we have the opportunity to say "You are blessed" whatever your situation from which you can escape. It is astonishing a Pope who has freed us to this extent".

Who knows if the principle also applies to criminal associations. A relationship that is not in the Truth, that is Christ, cannot be blessed. What would Pope Francis have freed us from? From the Truth?

6) On "Amoris Laetitia" "Marriage is something serious, but also risky because of the accidents that can happen. The Church cannot say: you do not have the right to rebuild your life after the failure you have suffered". With all due respect to the indissolubility of marriage, the Cardinal speaks like any other Pannella.

7) Final shot: 'Francis went as far as he could, leaving aside, for example, the priesthood or the female diaconate. He has entrusted women with positions in the Roman Curia and I hope there will be no turning back. Of course, in the Dioceses we already have women administrators or heads of offices. The Pope had the intelligence not to go too far to avoid ruptures or schisms'.

His Eminence compares the role of administrator to the priesthood. We do not think such an outburst deserves particular comment.

In conclusion, Your Eminence, if the Catholic Church is so narrow to you, instead of afflicting the People of God with a barrage of para heretical nonsense, why don't you go to the Protestant community in Sweden, Germany or wherever you like?
