Feast of Saint Gabriel, Vigil of the Annunciation

The Angel of the Lord out of God's power brought the message to Mary: She shall be the Mother of God and remain a virgin pure.
Mary said: "I am completely pure and want to be the handmaid of the Lord. Your will, O Lord, be done for me; my heart, O God, I give it to you.
The holy Word who became flesh and is called Lord Jesus Christ. Thy bitter sorrow, O great God, strengthen me in my death.
Lord Jesus Christ, I have one more request: do not abandon the poor souls and lead them out of their torment to your heaven.
