Teddy bear fabrication by HERMANN toys goes back to Max Hermann, who made teddy bears as early as 1913 so over 100 years ago with his brother Artur and his sister Adelheid. In 1920, Max Hermann founded his own little teddy bear factory in Neufang near Sonneberg.

Today, the collection includes more than 400 limited edition models, unique pieces and unique items made from the highest quality materials such as mohair or alpaca.

Especially the traditional art of excelsior stuffing is maintained in Coburg-Cortendorf. HERMANN-Coburg is one of the very few manufacturers of teddy bears who have mastered the stuffing with wood wool in a professional fashion.
