Bishop Williamson allegedly criticises Motu Proprio.

From Radio Vatican German service.

The majority of the Lefebvristes are against an agreement with the Pope. So said Richard Williamson, the controversial bishop of the SSPX. As the Italian daily La Stampa quoted him, the recent motu proprio is a 'poisoned cake ". The declaration of the Pope should be thrown in the bin, according tp Williamson. - On Wednesday, Pope Benedict XVI had prohibited further acts of the SSPX such as the ordinations to the priesthood in Zaitzkofen. In the letter, the Pope united the "Ecclesia Dei" Commission, who is responsible for the SSPX, to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. With the new papal decree Benedict XVI has created the canon law structure for SSPX dialogue with the Vatican. The motu proprio of the Pope is entitled with his Latin words which begin the document "Ecclesiae unitatem "(The Unity of the Church).

Radio Vatican has, apparently got this wrong- remarks taken out of context from this interview

See? They're still obstinate and belligerent. The pope should have all of 'em locked up in the Vatican dungeon.

Right, scott. Er...Cardinal Kasper is still a heretic, so the Pope should have all the cardinals locked up in the Vatican dungeon.
The founder of the Legionaries of Christ, Fr Marcial Maciel, molested his seminarians, so the Pope should have all of its 800 priests locked up in the Vatican dungeon. The logic is quite irrefutable.

Scott:

Yes, as soon as the FSSPX are regularized, along with around 50% of the worlds episcopate, who are even more obstinate and belligerent, and outright disobedient and heretical.

yeah, Scott... I was thinking what we should do with the obedient and compliant, and of course, so much in "full communion"... such as the german bishops or many others... hum...
Give us a break, and get lost.

Yesterday, following High Mass at a Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX) chapel, I started musing over my morning coffee. My mind tried to contemplate how upside down the Church is today. Allow me to give you all an example:

A raging heretic like Cardinal Roger Mahony and a flaming homo like retired Archbishop Rembert “I didn’t know nailing young boys was a crime” Weakland are considered in “full communion” with Rome. Yet, the SSPX, who upholds every single doctrine of Holy Mother Church, and believes as every Catholic (and Pope) around the world did up until 1965, are somehow still not in “full communion” with the Church.

Makes one say, “WTF, over!”
