White is the liturgical colour of Good Friday in Linz
White instead of purple in the Church of St Conrad in Linz, which is presided over by one Father Wimmer, who is given to taking his holidays on luxury cruise ships and was one of the ring leaders in the anti-Wagner coup. When on a recent trip to Jerusalem, he venerated the grave of Christ, not in clericals but in shirt sleeves, so no surprise that he comes back home and dresses his church in white on Good Friday.
At the service itself, one does not venerate the Cross by kissing Our Lord's Wounds, but one leaves a flower behind.
To his right, a stealth priestess - the purple glow is the baptismal font (please, I am not joking!)
