Muslim consecrated to God

A sensation from the amazingkreuz.net

Italy. An Algerian Muslim has formally entered the Focolare Movement as a Muslim, Radio Vatican reports. On Saturday, he took perpetual vows in the Focolare Movement's centre in Castel Gandolfo near Rome with 39 other men. The Muslim council took the evangelical vows of poverty, chastity and obedience with a revised formula. In Algeria, the Focolare Movement according to its own figures are 95 percent Muslim. Those involved with the Focolare Movement take a decase to prepare for perpetual vows.

Cathcon advice- have nothing to do with these new movements, you never know which God you might end up praying to.

"Ordained"? No, Focolare is a lay movement. I suppose the German headline should be translated as "Muslim consecrated to God", hm?

I am going to have to cross post this at Per Christum... Muslim involvement just demands I ask - why not just join the Rotary club?

This is all too odd for me to understand...
