Dear All,

There are two urgent requests:if you have not already done so, please sign the latest online petition against the Sexual Orientation Regulations, this one specifically demanding an exemption for Catholic adoption agencies: Second, please pray a novena, starting Saturday, for Portugal's abortion referendum.

Other recent items: also on the SORs debate, we are calling for messages to Cardinal Murphy O'Conner to protest at the policy of referring homosexual couples to other adoption agencies. It is interesting to note that the Cardinal has indicated that it would be wrong for a Catholic hospital to refer patients to abortion facilities: in either case, referral is a serious cooperation in evil.
