Treasured Churches of Cincinnati

St George's Church was closed in 1995.

The following from a newspaper article.

"Many other churches that once served the Catholic community of Cincinnati so well fell victim of declining neighborhoods. Some of these still stand today as secular buildings, such as St. Paul's in Over the Rhine, now home of the Verdin Bell Company, or Holy Cross Church (and Monastery) in Mount Adams, which is now home to a group of radio stations. Others now serve Protestant denominations or schismatic groups. Many have simply been razed."
