The Great Catholic Sale began in the late 1960s after the Vatican Council. A photograph taken in an antiques shop at the time. A church in the Netherlands was converted into an antique showroom. The business was so successful that the church is now only used for the valuable statues. Their new display place is room after room of religious objects taken from desecrated and "modernised" churches.
