Investigations against SSPX Bishop progressing

After months of cliffhanging, the investigation into the controversial Bishop and Holocaust denier Richard Williamson is progressing again. According to the Regensburg Prosecutor's Office on Monday, the case now has before them a declaration of a Swedish television company. A reporter from Sweden interviewed last year, the bishop of the ultra-conservative SSPX. Williamson had forcibly relativised the mass murder of Jews. Because of legal issues, a journalist in Sweden could not so far be questioned. Now, the investigators are examining the new letter.

Bishop Williamson should not be described as an ultra-conservative as in the article. He is simply a Catholic who believes and practices the entire Catholic religion. He did not change his beliefs and practices after the Vatican II revolution and refused to follow the new religion started by the Vatican after that Council.

Since the release of the document ‘Nostra Aetate” (probably I did spelled wrong), everything flows in one direction: the Catholic Church must bow its head and bent its knee before the “holocaust.” I respect the holocaust but, what about the rest of the 34 million people that died in WWII? No, “Nostra Aetate” cannot be a one way to make the Church responsible for the murder of the Jews people. Gene546
