PRESS COMMUNIQUÉ OF THE GENERAL HOUSE
11-20-2010
Filed under From Rome , From Tradition , News , The Church in the world
The Superior General Bishop Bernard Fellay has learned from the press that Bishop Richard Williamson has decided to dismiss his lawyer ten days before the trial to be defended by a lawyer who has open links to the neo-Nazi movement in Germany and similar groups.
Bishop Fellay has ordered Bishop Williamson explicitly to withdraw this decision and not to be exploited by political theories that have absolutely nothing to do with his duties as a Catholic bishop in the service of the Society of St. Pius X.
If he does not obey this command, he must reckon on expulsion from the Society of St. Pius X.
