Indulgenced prayers for vocations

Reactions
Almighty God, Father of Jesus Christ our eternal High Priest, bless our families. Grant that they may have the honour and privilege of giving to Thy Church sons and daughters to serve God in the sacred priesthood and the religious life.

Mary, Queen of the Clergy, pray for us ; obtain for us many holy priests. Help our students who are preparing for the priesthood.

INDULGENCES
1. The laithful who recite with devotion any prayer approved by ecclesiastical authority, in order to obtain from God priestly and religious vocations, may gain :
(a) an indulgence of seven years each time ;
(b) a plenary indulgence on the usual conditions,
if the prayer be recited every day for a month.
(Sacred Penitentiary, 17th May, 1927 ; 18th March, 1932)

2. The faithful who spend at least half an hour
in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament in any
church or public oratory to obtain vocations to
the priesthood, and who also go to confession
and receive Holy Communion, may gain a plenary
indulgence.

(Sacred Penitentiary, 24th May, 1921 ; 24th June, 1936)
Imprimatur : die 10 Aprilis 1957 GULIELMUS,
