Cardinal Kasper tries to hinder conversion of Anglicans

Sources close to the Vatican Pontifical Council for the Unity of Christians, the Vatican ministry responsible for ecumenical dialogue recalled that the conversion was a strictly personal matter. 'We have not been consulted - in addition - we would not agree to a return as a group'

It looks like many Roman Catholic clergymen wish that Anglicans would become Romans one-at-a-time. Such has been the practice for many years. Even John Henry Newman had to take catechism classes with 12-year old children before he was allowed to be a member of the Church.
However, Benedict XVI and the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith seem to have other ideas. Only time will tell, and the time is now.
