Millenarian, heterodox sect nurtured by Czech Jesuit who dismissed Rupnik accusers as hysterical and pouty women

Cathcon: Yet another example of a Conciliar new ecclesial movement who has joined the dark side.

Question marks around the Aletti Centre - the visionary and her eschatological movement.

In the autumn of 2023, Father Michal Altrichter presented a conference on Spiritual Accompaniment in an Age of Abuse. It seemed out of place to me. The same man who, in his book, humiliated women who reported being abused by Father Rupnik (using words like "hysterical," "poor women," "pouty women")? [1] [2] The same man who helps spread weirdness like the ones described here? [3] So I asked him after he spoke publicly on these topics. He refused to answer, saying that "this is not the place to talk about everything that the Olomouc Aletti Centre lives for."

After reading dozens of his books, letters to SJVS members, and talking to people who have contacted me on the basis of the articles themselves, I have to give him the benefit of the doubt. There really is a lot to what they live by.

Doc. Dr. Michal Altrichter Th.D. SJ is one of the five members of the Olomouc Aletti Centre (CA), which spiritually guides over seven thousand members of the Servants of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (SJVS or Servants) in the Czech Republic and Slovakia [4] This community of believers has made it their main goal to pray for priests. I recommend reviewing the articles cited above to see how I came to these8 conclusions about CA in the summer of 2023 (I know today how much I underestimated it):

● They publish books such as the book Father Altrichter, SJ, in which he demeans the sisters who reported the abuse, but also, for example, insults CMTF colleagues and says they are lying.[5]

● They have published a book that purports to be a textbook but, in my opinion, is based on private revelation, which he does not acknowledge [6].

● They recommend reading to the laity of the SJVS movement, conduct one-on-one conversations, spiritual renewal. According to the SJVS pamphlet, I think it is likely that doctrine is also passed on to members that I believe comes from private revelation. I do not evaluate private revelation as such. That's not up to me - and maybe it bears great fruit. But is an open game being played with the members, and the bishops as well?

This is all true, only much more so [7] than I had thought. So what does the CA teach, and how does it act?

Source: https://aletti.cz/sjvs/modlitba-noven/ Illustration of one of the main theses - CA expects the imminent Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Therefore, Salvation is offered as never before.

"In the last days, that is, in the present time, the Monstrance will walk among us..."[8]

P. Altrichter speaks openly in his books about his belief in the revelation in the Garabandal[9] which contains a prediction of an imminent global catastrophe.[10] During the coronavirus pandemic, the belief in the very imminent Second Coming of Jesus Christ took on a more urgent character.[11] The coronavirus was, in his perception, an important moment on the road to the Second Coming of the Lord:

"For the strengthening of human hearts before the Second Coming, Jesus, by all the graces mentioned, was preparing the unexpected moment of 2020; the worldwide spread of the coronavirus epidemic. Without being experts on the current experience of the pandemic, it can be said (again, along with Church authorities such as Pope Francis) that the emergency and quarantine restricting the movement of the entire world (as we know from Garabandal) has stopped in complete silence - so that every human heart has the opportunity to somehow 'catch' the coming Lord."[12]

All this anticipation of the Second Coming is framed by the strangeness that I am already used to in this environment - and that comes from private revelation:

"He envelops the whole earth with the rainbow of the Beatitudes (cf. the publication of Luisa Karczub's Beatitudes) and promises to save (especially at the moment of His Second Coming) every heart that is the least bit willing. The Spirit of the Beatitudes, which now protects the whole earth, is a sign of the desire of God's heart for the salvation of every person. As in the time of Noah there were colours in Heaven, today they are the colors of the Beatitudes on Earth - the whole Earth is enveloped by them. Jesus has thus entered into a "New Covenant" with us and expects our flexibility for all His loving plans." [13]

More wondrous context for the approaching Parusia in Sr. Luisa Karczub's meditation for SJVS in July 2021:[14]"As the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are one in the Trinity, the last three popes are also the one-three-one Pope: they bear as one Pope in three persons the pains of the three Hearts of the Persons of the Trinity in the reverse order of Calvary. There, first the Heart of Jesus was pierced, then the Heart of the Father was torn, to finally pour out the crushed Heart of the Spirit. In the three end-time popes as in the only one, the pains go in reverse, exactly as the Trinity comes from heaven to earth on the right hand with the Queen and all the saints.

(...) Finally, Francis is the pierced Heart of Christ, whom all look upon today as the Lord on the Cross: some, at the sight of Francis's face, gape, judge, shepherd with their eyes, and cry out; and others contemplate his face, seeing with their hearts the action of Christ on earth. And Pope Francis, in unity with Benedict and John Paul, becomes all things to all, in order to save at least some with Jesus. It is about the last triune Pope bearing the birth pangs of the Trinity for the Second Coming. Let us rejoice!"

As a Catholic Christian, of course I believe in the Second Coming. I suppose it will come "like a thief in the night". If one does or does not believe in the various predictions of the imminent Second Coming, we are of course still both in the same Church. I had to think of Exupéry here, though:

"That's funny, thought the little prince. It's poetic enough, but not very serious."

The revelations and information conveyed to SJVS members contain many atypical and alarming features, but P. Altrichter glosses over/excuses them because as many people as possible need to be saved. And for this urgent goal, the Lord in his mind allows even absurd ways from my point of view (see the attached excerpt from the SJVS website about the promises of the novenas).

"We are surrounded by walls, for which the Lord is surety."[16]

The mentality of a group threatened from without is shown in many texts and many places.

"The problematic tension between Aletti and some institutions or a few individuals is happening because of "Spidla". This is the root of the matter. Previously implicit or (partly) explicit, now massively explicit. And by the fact that it is no longer "Spidlik" who lives, but He in him, then the attack is made against the Heart of our Lord. This, of course, those who do not see into the essence of the spiritual struggle will call this "paranoia"(...)[17]

Need I explain that criticism of part of the work of the Aletti Centre need not be an attack on Cardinal Špidlik, that it is not an attack on the Lord Jesus? Also in another book - a similar motive of the plan, and the false intentions of the critic.

"Like so many outbursts against ministers of the heart of Jesus in our local church, they correspond to a more strategic plan than just a moment of disaffection. For example, one priest who "may not be a Jesuit" makes suggestive objections to esoteric theology, to the unspiritual advocacy of Rupnik, to the supposed practice of intentions, etc. in this community. He is convinced that he is doing a good service to "the truth", to the Church", etc. Is this not revenge for the abolition of the "John Paul II" Institute? But this too has a deeper preconception."[18]

I am sure I recognize the priest of whom P. Altrichter writes here. I know the situation from the story - one of the associate professor's colleagues brought the book of the Beatitudes to a faculty meeting and pointed out (before P. Altrichter) its peculiarities. He met with stiff resistance from Mr. Altrichter.

Is it really impossible anymore for persons at the Aletti Centre to believe that this priest or P. Enderle[19] or myself (if I may compare the big with the small) are not led to criticize by conspiratorial anti-Jesuit hatred? Is it impossible for them to believe that, although we are people of different views of the Church and the world, we perceive similar concerns about parts of the work of the Centro Aletti? And really - this is not a criticism of the whole. I am very grateful, for example, for the Philokalia[20] published by their publishing house, Refugium. It is also wonderful that seven thousand people in the SJVS are praying for priests in a coordinated way.

Of course, much of what CA teaches is also true. Some of the ladies responded in this vein to my earlier article on the Beatitudes - they may not understand parts of it, but other parts are wonderful and very helpful to them. Sure - but we need to make sure that these beautiful passages are not just a gateway to accepting things that are incompatible with the Catholic faith. Indeed, it is likely that the passages they do not understand come not from the treasury of the Church, but from private revelation - for which everyone must be free to decide whether to consider them authentic. Let me illustrate this with an extreme case - if I became a Jehovist, for example, I would recognize that they are right about a lot of things - God loves us, He created the world for us. Maybe my prayer would deepen as well. But then I would not be right, for example, that injured children should not get blood transfusions. Similarly, CA is right about most things - but I still worry that the 7,000 members who receive letters from the Aletti Centre or attend the Spirituality Evening School may be misled about just the extra part. And the fellowship of prayer for priests or deepening spirituality has thus become just a vehicle for the dissemination of doctrine that comes from private revelation. And this is from the revelation of one of the five members of the CA.

The graces which the Lord bestows have never been bestowed in all history.[21]

We come to the most difficult thing to grasp. I should point out up front that I have verified every piece of information with at least (but usually more than) two independent witnesses. Some of the calls were very painful and most people did not wish to be quoted. I asked everyone I spoke with to relay their experience to the Archbishop of Olomouc. One of the five members of the Centro Aletti community (two Jesuit Fathers and three Sisters of the Divinity of Christ [22]) - Sr. Katerina Klosova (baptized Lenka) is supposed to have had an apparition of Jesus Christ at least since young adulthood. On His behalf, she gives people specific instructions that can greatly influence their lives. [23]

Sister Kateřina Klosová is in the middle.

What is repeated in the experiences of people who have come into contact with Sister Catherine:

1) It is very typical for members to be informed whether their deceased relatives are in Purgatory or Heaven (no testimony indicated that he was in Hell):

"The day before a relative's funeral I was offered to become a member of the SJVS. I was also introduced to Sister Katherine, saying that she had a special gift of talking directly to Jesus. In a brief private conversation, in an atmosphere of prayer, she informed me that the person in question was already in heaven. She also spoke of the fact that for each person God has a name by which He calls them to Himself, and she told me the name of the relative and what his three beatitudes were. Then, with my permission, she also sent me the names and beatitudes of my family members with an offer of further meetings.

I think that this made me more able to experience some situations spiritually in the following days - I consider this to be good. However, with the passage of time, uneasiness grew in me about the form and content of the conversation at that time. Let those called to judge the content, but at the very least it seemed inappropriate to recruit members in this way in such a sensitive and tense situation when there was the possibility of doing so at any other time. I considered it an abuse of the situation, but when confronted, I was given an apology and reassurance that there was no intention on their part."   Ludmila

2) Recruitment of members is often accompanied by information about the benefits of membership such as information about the person's three beatitudes, an extra guardian angel, etc. If a person does not want to join, or even as a member has doubts and wants distance - repeated calls may occur, but most importantly - such a person, according to Sister Catherine, is acting against the will of Jesus Christ. For example, a lady who knew one of the three sisters of the Aletti Centre from a former life, and who was approached to join the Servants, wished to make this experience public:

"They are worse than the Jehovists - you can even have a dialogue with them. They are always grinding their own. A sister from the Aletti Centre called me to join the Servants. She said I would get another guardian angel and other things [24] that I thought were out of place and that I no longer remember. When I said no, that I had a lot anyway, they called me several more times after that and kept going their way."

3) In the SJVS, the emphasis is on intent. It is common to give intentions for the so-called Clementine or Gregorian Masses. The money goes through the private accounts of the Servants to the priests who celebrate the Mass. [25] Interestingly, and quite outside the traditional interpretation, one of the members of the inner circle of Servants (Milada Šanovcová ) speaks about this for Radio Proglas:[26]

"Actually, it is that the priest remembers all those ancestors, parents, forefathers, great-grandfathers up to the fourth generation - which gives a total of those thirty persons, and for each of those persons the Holy Mass is then celebrated, because the sins of those ancestors, forefathers and great-grandfathers still affect the life of those living or those deceased, and here their sins are atoned for by these Holy Masses, so that that soul is freed and reaches the Lord."

I received a more extensive testimony this week, from which I am inserting portions. It can be found as a whole HERE.

(...) There have also been an increasing number of SJVS meetings throughout the year that I have been invited to by relatives but have not wanted to attend. Firstly, because of the increasing amount of prayer material that was reaching me through relatives and which I had not requested, and then because I was concerned about the content of the meetings which relatives interpreted to me on my return. The topics of the meetings often revolved around the apocalypse and the second coming of Christ, which made me uneasy. Mainly because I could see that the relatives were in an unhealthy state of suspense about these apocalyptic messages (...)

(...) I received letters from Sister Catherine at irregular intervals, in which she sent me messages about new names and gifts that I was receiving from God, and I did not know about any gifts or other names, so I did not understand how Sister Catherine could know about them.(...)The text was usually printed, but Sister sometimes took the trouble to write key information (such as a new name from God) sometimes by hand, with a decorative gel pen(...)

(...) Sister Catherine often gives people direct messages from God or from Jesus during prayer (e.g. "...I have placed a priest on your heart").

Conclusion

In the teachings and activities of the Aletti Centre in Olomouc, whose members lead the Servants of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, there are, besides the obvious positives, some parts that are not healthy for me and can, I think, significantly harm the led members. If you are still hesitant after reading it - get Refugio's latest book - Mystical Gifts of the Sacred Heart of Jesus for Last Hour Servants. For me, they have long since crossed the line into a new religious movement. In particular, the confidence with which Sister Catherine communicates to you the state of the souls of your deceased loved ones is striking and potentially destructive. Even in the narrative, the recurring certain urgency in recruiting or exiting members from the movement is cautionary. It is possible, of course, that the only people I heard from were people who were disappointed, who were, shall we say, unlucky that the Servants' leadership chose a weak moment in their case. Everyone is entitled to that, of course, especially in a work of this scope. But given the similarities of the various testimonies [27] I have been able to hear over the years, I do not think so, and I believe that there are systemic problems. I am also led to this conclusion by the statement of Ondrej Elbel, spokesman for the Ostrava-Opava Diocese: "A similar warning about the activities of the Servants of the High Priestly Heart of Jesus came to the Ostrava-Opava Diocese. We passed it on to the Archbishopric of Olomouc." If you recognize yourself in these experiences, please do so as well and inform Father Archbishop Nuzik.

[2] Although the trial of P. Mark Rupnik is still in preparation and his case cannot be considered closed, P. Arthur Sosa, Superior General of the Jesuits, commented on the case earlier this year, "This abuse occurred because of our blindness, because it is true that we did not see it, this blindness was due to our failure to connect the various clues." (https://www.nekdotiuveri.cz/clanky/zahranici/jezuitsky-general-o-rupnikovi-byli-jsme-slepi-poucili-jsme-se-z-chyb) Even so, of course, it is still possible that P. Rupnik will be cleared. But even if he is, P. Altrichter has no right to speak about the sisters in the way he does at this time. Such an approach only serves to intimidate other potential victims. So it is not a question of whether he believes the dozens of sisters or his friend more (which is perfectly humanly understandable), but the manner in which he makes his defence. Cf.

[7] P. Altrichter's books contain a number of places where P. Altrichter criticizes or ridicules teachers at CMTF, students, reviewers, those who gave Refugia the Skřipec award for the worst translation, etc. It would be very easy to use these passages to discredit P. Altrichter, but this is not about him personally, but about his influence on the believers of the entire CA.

This apparition contains, for example, information about a great warning or that there will be the last four popes. [22] I cannot drag out the article with an explanation of the sisters of Christ's divine humanity. They are in CA Rome and CA Olomouc. They were spiritually led in the novitiate by Fr. Rupnik and you can check their ecclesiastical position here: https://cbk.cirkev.cz/rady-a-kongregace

[23] She met Fr. Altrichter at a spiritual renewal in 2008 - he has been her spiritual guide since then. But he has also guided her, for example, this bachelor's thesis https://theses.cz/id/n3ykwt/. The opponent was Sr. Luisa Karczubová. The whole work is a valuable insight into the inner world of Sister Kateřina (at that time still Lenka). He proposed A, the opponent A-B. It is an exemplary nepotism. The work does not correspond to academic customs in form or content. Such a failure at the CMTF is shameful and personally offensive to me as a graduate.

[24] cf. with KARCZUBOVÁ, Luisa. Mystical Gifts of the Heart of Jesus, p. 14; “Such an act of surrender to the Heart of Jesus is an event so sublime that upon entering the SJVS a person receives another Guardian Angel as a “protector and shepherd” (in addition to the one he has had since conception).” In addition, they receive the Angel of Purity; the Heavenly Name; the Eucharistic Angel; the Ray of Love of Jesus' High Priesthood, etc., etc., etc.

This entire book systematizes the gifts whose existence is evidently revealed to Sr. Kateřina (for most of them). There are 118 of them in total. It is always a gift - e.g. "48 Animating Virtue, through which Jesus constantly resurrects man in his dying for the priest" or "No. 14 Jesus serves eight Clementine Holy Masses in the heart of the Servant", then it always follows the information about which saint prayed for it in Heaven - with ecumenical exceptions, when, for example, gift No. 101 Protection from Evil was begged for us in Heaven by Queen Elizabeth II of England.

Then you will read in the book how this gift "works". e.g. about the protection from evil - "The gift is described briefly, but it is extremely powerful when we receive it: Some of our thoughts, words and actions will no longer be able to be read by the evil spirit - God himself will hide it from him. Such protection is given to us by Jesus now (in the last days)."

I have information about a number of priests who cooperate with the SJVS in this way. I want to illustrate with this link a certain lack of transparency and also the scope of these activities - one collaborator is appointed to communicate about intentions.

I am also grateful to those who read the text after me before publication and for their advice.
