"In most German dioceses, with permission of the Diocesan Bishop, Tridentine Masses took place on Sundays and weekdays even before the new Motu Proprio. An survey in the last year showed that the need is to a large extent covered."

Therefore the Liturgy Commission has decided in the past year that the framework theme for the years 2006 to 2011 will be a working emphasis on Ars celebrandi (from the Latin = „the art of correctly celebrating “). A multiplicity of measures is to contribute to the strengthening of positive developments and correct problematic tendencies.
So even the German Bishops' Conference can head in the right direction, if it puts it mind to it. At last they recognise, they have a problem.
