Carnival time in the Church



















Scenes from the Netherlands, where the power and prestige of the clergy long ago drained away to the laity after Vatican II. Carnival will cease today- the usurpation of clerical office and power by lay movements will take years to disappear.

I know that these things depress me when I see them, but I've come to realize that it is critically important that people KNOW these atrocities are occurring. CathCon keeps these abominations from being swept under the carpet and ignored.

That altar (the steel-frame one, not the Gothic one covered with dust in the background) is hideous.

The whole thing is atrocious.
