That’s not how we do things here.

Foreign priests in U.K. undergo training in ‘Britishness’

How very Anglican! But the general idea is that Catholicism is not conditioned by race or people or nation.

"Some foreign priests working in Britain tend to be too dogmatic about the church’s moral rightness on just about everything."

Right... universal faith and universal Church, we'll just toss that out...

I definitely see the use for a course like this... but not one with that as one of its lessons.

How many foreign priests would they actually need if the pastoral provision application of 500+ priest from the CofE had been accepted 15+ years ago when they started ordaining lady priests?

Sadly, diocese like Liverpool did not accept so much as one app.

And you could not have gotten too much more British than a boat load of High Church Anglicans, now can you?

Alas, I know of one RC church which has closed due to local racism, people stopped attending when a new foreign priest took over. It happened in my Grandmothers day as well, with a Chinese missionary Priest in Manchester....
I am told that some "traditionalists" in Brussels refused to receive Communion from an African priest. Fortunately, we don't have a Church of Belgium to be a repository of such attitudes.

Matthew 28
19 Going therefore, teach ye ALL nations; baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world.
