Muslim prayers every Friday in Belgian Church

While their mosque is being restored, Muslims are being the use of St Lambert in Jumme. Every Friday, the Cross is removed, prayer mats laid and images hidden.

Henri Remy, the 89 year old parish priest rejoices in the dialogue in the spirit of the Council, "We pray to the same God, each in their own way", he says with emphasis.

Muslims believe once a building has been used for their prayers that they retain the right of use for ever.

Believe in the same God?

God is the Trinity. The muslims reject the Son.

In other words, they do NOT worship the one God, He who established the Catholic Church.

Please please deliver us oh Lord from the "filth" in the priesthood.

I might be wrong, but wasn't this building originally a Catholic Church, but Muslims razed it to the ground, then built a mosque on the remains, and then Catholics retook it somewhere in medieval times/early Renaissance?

Also, what kind of idiotic rule is that, that a building should be retained forever by a religion just because they prayed in it? Does that mean that if I am a Muslim and go into my non-Muslim neighbor's house and conduct my prayers towards Mecca, that I can then use that house forever as a site of prayer? I hope not. I hope this is a misunderstanding or poor representation of their teachings.
