It is useful to remember that not so many years ago, this photograph would have illustrated the norm rather than the exception. God willing, it will become the norm once again.

Lovely sight! Amen.
Where have these Padres been during the last forty years?

Deep in Mexico, in the remote villages, those Catholics know what a Lefebvreista is. And these are people with no formal education at all; some do not speak Spanish or English, they still speak the indigenous languge of their geographic location (there are ninety-two indigenous languages in Mexico). But they know how to say the name Lefebvre; it is Lefebvre-eeesta.

This is a serious question. For many years we knew of the Archbishop from all the pot-shots taken at him from all around the world. He was on the front lines.

I am glad these are Traditional Priests, but could you give a little history?

Santa María de Guadalupe Esperanza nuestra, salva nuestra patria y conserva nuestra Fe.

These dangerous loonies have been under seige by liberal bishops for decades and as they didn't want to be suspended a divinas they keept their heads beneath the parapit until the Holy Father Issued the moto proprio which gave them covering fire.
Dear Just another mad Catholic,

Thank you for your generous reply.... I am happy to see someone stand up and defend Padres.

Que Dios te bendiga.

By the way, why isn't my blog and web site listed as one of your favorites? It is dedicated to Nuestra Senora.

Maybe someday I can talk you into accepting an image of Our Lady from Tepeyac Hill to hang in the U.K.

Viva Cristo Rey!
