My house shall be called a house of prayer

but you have turned it into a cartoon exhibition. That Belgium is now more well known for cartoons than Catholicism could not be "better illustrated" than an special exhibition of cartoons being opened in the former Abbey Church of Floreffe on Pentecost Sunday.


Fairies, dragons, vampires, aliens and other unlikely creatures are converging on the Namur region... On 31 May and 1 June, Floreffe Abbey will welcome a host of fantastic creatures! Indeed, as part of the Year of the Comic Book, the rooms of the abbey will be the meeting place for fans of fantastic comics (and others...) through two days of signings, exhibitions, a comic book market and other activities related to the 9th art! A dozen original drawings by Claude Laverdure will be exhibited in the Tuscany Gallery of the Cour d'Honneur of the abbey, these drawings having been reproduced and enlarged by the "apprentice in decoration" students of the Illon Saint Jacques. With a retrospective exhibition in the abbey church...
