Cardinal who could so easily have become Pope

endorses faulty theological book

Conservative rabbis dismayed

over Catholic prayer

Rowan Williams

a "prophet" without honour- apart from in his own synod.

This is the funniest material I have ever read on the internet.

I encourage all to laugh out loud, but before you have finished remember what is a stake and people who live on the estates of Britain's inner cities, which have been deserted by the Church of England (it was not the people who deserted the Anglicans, but the Anglicans who deserted the people) , who are content to write long, wordy reports about their situation, signifying completely nothing. And to add insult to injury, the Archbishop now speculates that sharia law will be incorporated into the splendour of English law, by which, at least, in this world we are judged.

How much can one wish that Lord Denning would be alive today, to take the Williams case for sharia law to pieces bit by bit.

"If [the Christian] religion perishes in the land, truth and justice will also. We have already strayed too far from the path of our fathers. Let us return to it, for it is the only thing that can save us."

Prayer for England

O Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God and our most gentle Queen and Mother look down in mercy upon England, thy dowry, and upon us who greatly hope and trust in thee.

By thee it was that Jesus, our Saviour and our hope was given unto the world; and He has given thee to us that we might hope still more.

Plead for us thy children, whom thou didst receive and accept at the foot of the cross, O Sorrowful Mother, Intercede for our separated brethren, that with us in the one true fold, they may be united to the Chief Shepherd, the Vicar of thy Son.

Pray for us all, dear Mother, that by faith, fruitful in good works we may all deserve to see and praise God, together with thee in our heavenly home.
