First Jon Sobrino SJ

now Daniel C. Maguire SJ. Even the American bishops take action!

When such untruths as
“There is no one Catholic view on contraception, abortion or same-sex marriage."

are spoken. Why is it always the Jesuits? Well, not always but very often.

While he is a theologian at a Jesuit university, he is a laicized priest and is not a Jesuit.
Checking on this but I can't find any evidence on the internet and Zenit says Jesuit.
While Sobrino is a Jesuit, Maguire was laicized in 1971, Time Magazine reported on it then:

Interestingly, Marquette has repeatedly responded to people asking why he was allowed to teach there by saying that he was not a dissenter when he was hired (see: http://tinyurl.com/2ygbkz
for example). But this article says otherwise, that, in fact, he had led opposition to Humanae Vitae while he was still at Catholic University of America, before taking up the Marquette post.
