Latin Mass breakthrough

Since October last year, from Monday to Thursday at 12.30 pm on the Principal Altar of the Cathedral Church of St Aubain in Namur, Belgium the Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered according to the old Rite.

Still to go, Saturday and Sunday in Namur, and every day in every other Cathedral in the Catholic world, and every Basilica including St Peter's in Rome. A mountain to climb which with God's help will be achieved.

Do not doubt it, for in this Cathedral, amazing to say, is buried the heart of Don John of Austria, the victor of the Battle of Lepanto. His body is in the Royal Monastery of the Escorial.

Nothing quite so amazing, of course, but in St. Louis the traditional Mass is once again being celebrated in the Cathedral. Solemn High Mass on the feast of St. Thomas Aquinas this March 7, at 7pm. Also, on the feast of the Sacred Heart, Abp. Burke himself will ordain priests of the Institute of Christ the King, Sovereign Priest at the Cathedral.
