Reactions
The Bishop finds time to ban the Latin Mass amid all the troubles of the Diocese of Orange going against the express wishes of the Pope for a wide and generous permission for the Latin Mass.

My house shall be called a house of prayer... but you have turned it into yet another "cultural centre". Europe now has an over-supply of cultural centres and not enough culture to go around, not least because of the steady abstraction of Catholic life, art and devotions in the years since the Council. Ironic. And American Catholicism is going the same way.

"The abstraction of Catholic life, art and devotions in the years since the Second Vatican Council". Quote from the previous post. This is one of the Stations of the Cross in the Beguinage Church in Leuven/ Louvain, Belgium. This is the student chaplaincy Church in the town, but you could be the cleverest student for generations and not be able to figure out which station of the cross this is.
