It seems the Church of the Immaculata is still open and is the centre of a magnificent devotion for Good Friday. However, the Passionist Church of the Holy Cross and Monastery have been closed.

St George's Church was closed in 1995 (see post below).
"Many other churches that once served the Catholic community of Cincinnati so well fell victim of declining neighborhoods. Some of these still stand today as secular buildings, such as St. Paul's in Over the Rhine, now home of the Verdin Bell Company, or Holy Cross Church (and Monastery) in Mount Adams, which is now home to a group of radio stations. Others now serve Protestant denomnations or schismatic groups. Many have simply been razed."

Former Franciscan Monastery of Old St George, Cincinnati is now a "Great Good Place for Community and Spiritual Renewal."
"Old St. George is a community center, conference center and spiritual center hosting a wide variety of group and individual events."
The new owners claim to practice "post-denominational ministry" or better put "the religion of the self-satisfied".
The Church is now available for "Monastery Weddings" and as can be seen from the photograph of the former sanctuary, this community centre manages to bring not only the Sacrament of Marriage into disrepute but also the Last Supper and the Mass.
Why did the Church allow this to happen? Who allowed it to happen?
