The Boston bounce- Archdiocese trying to bounce the Faithful into accepting the closures by appointing new priests to "merged" Parishes. How can they be so sure that St Bernard's Church will close. And what is the point of the review process if there will be no delay in the official closing date of St Bernards.

Archdiocese's real estate director wants his office to aid parishes.
"Once a decision is reached on closing a parish, our office gets involved in disposing of the property, as well as maintaining that property until its sold,' Richter said. 'Our office is a resource to newly consolidated parishes for the sale of their old buildings.' "
He helps to close parishes and then trys to claim this is aiding the faithful. A guilty conscience perhaps?

Group to fight church closings formed in Boston.
Hopefully, the parishes of the Archdiocese of Detroit will learn the lessons from the Boston experience and unite rather than let themselves be picked off one by one, at the whim of the diocesan officials.
